PASTORAL MESSAGE

Beloved of the LORD,

How timeless is GOD’S Word!  As sinners, we’re all “outcasts” until we’ve been saved by grace through faith in the Messiah, our LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Therefore, as the LORD once rescued “the outcasts of Israel” from Babylonian captivity, so, too, He rescues us from our bondage to sin.  Moreover, as the LORD once welcomed the “outcasts of Israel” home to Jerusalem, the city of their inheritance, so, too, He welcomes us home to the “new Jerusalem,” the city of our eternal inheritance (REVELATION 21:2b).

Thankfully, we receive a foretaste of our eternal inheritance every Sunday, as we gather in community to hear the LORD’S Word, receive His cleansing, and feast at His banquet table of love.  Then, we are sent forth by His SPIRIT to joyfully rebuild our homes and communities with His most perfect “shalom” (peace).

Beloved “outcast,” are you “brokenhearted”?  Are you “wounded”?  Are you “thirsting” for the “water of life”? If so, come home, “thirsty” ones.  Come home to JESUS, your healing “Water of Life.”

“Shalom” in the name of JESUS,

The Rev. Sharon G. Kapsch
